Nayong Pilipino became a satellite office when NARAPHIL transferred their central office at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Vito Cruz, Manila in 1977. It was formally established in September 1976 and became an affiliate member of NARAPHIL in the succeeding year.

The pioneering instructor assigned was Dr. Meneleo Estepa and later became the Executive Director of the Club. It is the most active club among the different affiliates of NARAPHIL.

They conduct regular weekly arnis training during Saturdays and Sundays and sponsors monthly exhibition by the different NARAPHIL affiliate clubs and other martial arts group.

They also conduct quarterly arnis tournaments and goodwill matches. In the late 1980’s they began sponsoring the Arnis Grandmasters Cup. This tournament was conceived to give tribute and credit to the living legacies of our martial art. This also paved the way for the recognition of these people who really pioneered arnis and such was carried on by their followers to their present day activities.

They also hosted WEKAF arnis seminars held by the different grandmasters for the foreign delegates during the WEKAF Championship/Convention. Aside from sponsoring series of Officiating Workshop Seminars and arnis clinic, they also sponsored the succeeding 4th - 9th Annual NARAPHIL National Arnis Team Championship. It became the training ground of the Philippine Team during their stint for the WEKAF tournaments.

The Nayong Pilipino Arnis Club cease its operation temporarily in 1997 due to the expansion of the NAIA Terminal III Complex and resumed its operation again last April 2005. Today it is headed by a new dynamic and young Executive Director of the Club – Capt. Ricardo F. Sarte, Jr.
